Hareden Brook in the Forest of Bowland

A shot taken from the slopes of Hareden Fell in the Forest of Bowland, looking along Hareden Brook’s serpentine coils as it merges with the wider Langden Brook and flows on towards Dunsop Bridge off in the distance.

(The tiny red mark near the lower-centre of the picture is a rambler, indicating how panoramic the valley really is!)

*Shot on an Olympus E-M1 Mk1 16mp m4/3 pro mirrorless camera using a a Canon EF 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 A lens via a Viltrox EF-M2 ll SpeedBooster 0.71x adapter (lens reduced to 25-50mm f/3-4) with camera settings at ISO-200, aperture at f/7.1, spot metering mode and an exposure time of 1/160 sec*
