The long way up

A lone walker in red begins the long and laborious climb up the rear of Clougha Pike in Lancaster, via the serpentine-bowed ‘Shooter’s Path’ that gives the public access to the vast moorland sprawl of the Duke of Westminster’s Abbeystead estate in the Forest of Bowland.

*Shot on an Olympus E-P5 16mp M4/3 digital camera using a Panasonic 100-300mm f/4-5.6 MEGA O.I.S lens with camera settings at ISO-100, aperture at f/9, spot metering mode and an exposure time of 1/60 seconds*
