Duelling banjos

This picture looks like it could have been taken directly from John Boorman’s seminal movie, Deliverance (1972) a tale of natural beauty, canoes following rivers, personal violation and unavoidable murder. However, this is actually being played out in 2017 on Lancaster canal, so no chance of running into any homicidal Hillbillies from the ‘deep South’ looking for retribution… well hopefully not anyway!

*Shot on an Olympus E-P5 16mp m4/3 digital camera using a Panasonic 100-300mm f/4-5.6 MEGA O.I.S lens with camera settings at ISO-200, aperture at f/9, spot metering mode and an exposure time of 1/500 seconds*
