Memories on the sand

The sand at Heysham beach in Morecambe Bay retains the surface memories of visitors from a busy day: someone’s boot footprints run parallel with a Dog’s scattered trot, which criss-cross the tyre tracks of a boat trailer that disappears into seawater pools just beyond some outlying rocks, all played out against the stunning backdrop of the Lake District’s distant Rydal Mountains off in the distance…
