Black and yellow frenzy
This nasty-looking brute of a Wasp (any suggestions of its official name will be greatly appreciated, so message this blog) was buzzing around my camera and lens just the other day and when it finally landed to slurp on some nectar, I managed to grab a shot or two. Once its thirst was sated, the savage black and yellow beast was back buzzing on the wing and I luckily managed to make a quick exit before its stinger had chance to strike home somewhere on my person!
*Shot on a Canon 600d 18mp dSLR using a Sigma f/2.8 105mm EX Macro lens with settings at ISO-200, aperture at f/2.8, spot metering mode and an exposure time of 1/1250 seconds*
