Seeing double

Seeing double

Too slow an exposure speed and a stopped-down aperture has resulted in this Blackbird’s rapidly-moving head being rendered twice in one shot, much like getting a double exposure back in the good old days of film photography. Either that or we’ve got mutant birds living amongst us…

*Shot on a Canon 600d 18mp dSLR using a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS mkll lens with settings at ISO-400, aperture at f/7.1, centre-weighted metering mode and an exposure time of 1/4 seconds*
