Boxing Day blues

Boxing Day blues

Just a few hours after Christmas Day has ended and all the new pressies from Santa’s sack have been played with and adopted with relish, so begins the exodus of the great unwanted and readily replaceable. Cast aside without a care in the world, discarded consumer goods from the previous year (and long before) can be found colourfully littering every available street corner, overgrown disused space and bin-lined street backings, not only across the UK but everywhere that Christianity has influenced society…

Now, how about a round of applause for the genius of Capitalism for taking advantage of our inherent belief system and making us spend all our money, eh?!

*Shot on a Canon 600d 18mp dSLR using a Sigma 18-125mm DC lens with settings at ISO-400, aperture at f/6.3, centre weighted metering mode and an exposure time of 1/60 seconds*
