Soaking up the Sun
A feral Pigeon takes some time out from the usual Pigeon-related activities of strutting, cooing and scratting to indulge in a spot of sunbathing on a bed of fluffed green grass. Although most of the feathers on this bird are a combination of greys, slate and charcoals, it is the light sparkling on the Pigeon’s cinnabar eye and puffed iridescent breast that adds just enough colour to make us appreciate such a common bird’s beauty.
