Bridge 69

This hump-backed bridge straddles the Lancaster Canal at Cabus in Preston and has the looming mounds of the Forest of Bowland in the background: the lighter hill which slopes from the centre to the right of the picture is the friendly hillock Nicky Nook (215 metres/ 705 feet); the much larger, darker behemoth enveloping the horizon at the rear is Harrisend Fell (283 metres/ 928 feet).

*Shot on an Olympus E-M1 Mk1 16mp m4/3 pro mirrorless camera using a Panasonic 100-300mm f/4-5.6 MEGA O.I.S lens with camera settings at ISO-200, aperture at f/8 spot metering mode and an exposure time of 1/320 seconds*
